The Birthplace of Smart Steps
Smart Steps was first established at Scoil Phádraig, Drumkeen in September 2015.
What began as a response to local need has grown into a trusted, structured school-age childcare service embedded within the school community.
Since opening, we have supported hundreds of children to play, create, explore and grow in a safe, familiar school environment.
Smart Steps operates in close partnership with school leadership and the Board of Management, ensuring that our service aligns with school policies, ethos and safeguarding standards.
About the School:
Scoil Phádraig is a vibrant mixed primary school serving the Drumkeen community and surrounding rural areas.
The school caters to approximately 120 pupils and is located between the towns of Stranorlar (9km) and Letterkenny (13km) in the rural village of Drumkeen.
